TAFISA Certified Leadership Course - Guam

From 24th to 26th November 2014, Guam will lead the Pacific Region for the next international TAFISA CLC. Guam is a beautiful tropical isle in the western Pacific “Where America’s day begins.” Guam’s 212 square miles and 170,000 population make it the largest island in Micronesia. Guam’s average temperature is 75° – 88° F or 23° – 29° C. While its main languages are English and Chamorro (indigenous language), Guam has a very diverse cross-cultural populace. 

Guam has beautiful white sand beaches, several golf courses, and significant historical sites from the Spanish era and from WWII. Guam has been a U.S. Territory since 1898. Guam’s currency is the U.S. dollar. Guam enters its own delegation in the Olympic Games.

The Guam CLC will be in the Westin Resort GUAM (105 Gun Beach in Tumon, Tel (671) 647-1020). The Westin Resort is an upscale 4-star hotel and spa, sits directly upon a beautiful stretch of beach ideal for water sports. The hotel has 7 onsite dining options, plus pools with pool bar. The Westin has excellent conference/training facilities and is within easy walking distance of excellent shopping, diverse restaurants, and entertainment.
