TAFISA Training American Sport for All Leaders in Argentina

With delegates from seven countries, the first Latin American Certified Leadership Course held in Buenos Aires, November 23 – 27 2010, can be considered a great success!TAFISA organized the event in collaboration with FEDAPET, TAFISA's regional body for the Americas, The course was hosted by AMUDERA, TAFISA's Argentinean member. Further support came from the Argentine Olympic Committee that provided its headquarters as the venue for the seminar. Prof. Rodolfo Valgoni, TAFISA Vice President and FEDAPET President, in his welcome words highlighted "the special significance of the CLC for the Sport for All movement in Latin America". More than 30 participants from Brazil, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Argentina and Colombia attended the CLC that took place in cooperation with the IOC.
The five days CLC program included seven international and national speakers from various fields of science and practice who offered a variety of Sport for All related topics. The CLC finished with an oral examination and the awarding ceremony where successful participants received their CLC certificate.
Coming CLCs in 2011 will start in January in Trinidad and Tobago and Iran, and then continue with courses in Latvia, Serbia, Indonesia and Tanzania.
