Qatar NOC honors National Sports Day contributors

The Qatar Olympic Committee has honored the companies, sponsors, sports federations and clubs for contributing to the success of the second National Sports Day held in February 2013. His Excellency Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the QOC Secretary General, along with QOC senior officials, staff and volunteers, and senior officials from sports federations, clubs and media representatives attended a special function at St Regis Hotel on Monday, June 10.
National Sports Day is an annual event held on the second Tuesday in February. It is a pioneering initiative that has been declared a national event by HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Heir Apparent and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee.
