National Fitness Day in Macau

On 8 August 2010, the Macau Sport Development Board will organize a series
of activities to propagate the National Fitness Day which endorses its
commitment to the promotion of Sport for All movement:
1. Facilities of the Macau Sport Development Board and the Civic and
Municipal Affairs Bureau will be opened for free for the public to take part in
sport practice.
2 .From 7am to 11am, "Sport-Health Advisory Station" will be organized at
"Areia Preta Triangular" Garden to provide physique test for the public. At the
same time, advisory information like health analysis, sports scheme and
nutrition will be provided, giving the citizens a good chance to understand
their health conditions and to set up an appropriate plan in sport
participation. In addition, sport demonstration session of the students from
Recreational & Physical Exercise Classes will be arranged which allows the
public to experience different kinds of sports and the benefits derived.
3. From 4pm to 7pm, "Sport for All Day" will be organized at the Garden of
Flower City. With the demonstration of the students from Recreational &
Physical Exercise Classes and fun activities, citizens will be encouraged to
participate in sports exercise which enhances the public understanding the
importance of sports as well as encouraging them to nurture sport participation
as a good habit.
