2011 World Walking Day (China) in Hubei

The launch ceremony of the 3rd Hubei Province "National Fitness Day" and 2011 Infinitus World Walking Day (China) was held in Jiang Tan Park, Wuhan City on August 6th. More than ten thousand citizens and Olympic gymnastic champion Lihui Zheng walked 6000 steps. The whole walking route is about 5 kilometers long.

As August 6th is the Chinese Valentine's Day, "Sweet Walking Group" was comprised by 50 couples who enjoyed the romantic festival with a healthy style.

On the event day, the participants not only could learn some scientific walking knowledge, but also experienced numbers of popular fitness activities, such as yoga, Qi Gong, soft power ball, roller skating and peg-top. Besides, the participants could get free Physic Examination. It was actually a Sport-for-all carnival for all citizens.
