Qatar held Swimming Competitions for School Girls in SOD

Swimming competitions were held for schools girls in the Schools Olympic Day under the banner of 'Sport and environment' at the Hamad Aquatics complex on February 17. In 25m freestyle qualifiers, three swimmers from Egypt school for languages, one from Nusaiba bint Kaab school, four from Tunisian school, and one from Nour Al Maref school advanced to the final stage. In 25m breaststroke, the qualifiers were Yara Al Areedi (Egypt school), Sheema Mufadal and Fatima Al Tozri (Tunisian school), Ahlam Ashraf (Al Rifaah independent school), Shahad Firas (Al Markhiyah independent school).  In the competitions for the preparatory schools, the qualifiers were, Mint Allah Khodair, Rawan Kamal (Egypt), Fatima Issa (Ruqiah), Kaltham Saeed (Zeinab). In the secondary schools competition, Naglaah Al Mihshadi, Maha Abo Ghnaim, Mariam Al Miraikhi, Fatima Al Nimah, Fatima Al Nasr, Alaa Al Deep, Miyar Hassan qualified in 25m backstroke event.
